On the Tsugaru Railway, a private railway that runs on the Tsugaru Peninsula in Aomori Prefecture, the famous "stove train" that announces the arrival of winter began operating on the 1st.

The Tsugaru Railway, which connects Goshogawara City and Nakadomari Town in Aomori Prefecture, has been operating a "stove train" with a traditional "potbelly stove" that uses coal as fuel every year since its opening in 1945.

On the first day of this season's service, a ceremony was held at Tsugaru Goshogawara Station, where locals performed the Tsugaru Shamisen.

Then, after President Chojiro Sawada of Tsugaru Railway said, "I want many customers to come to the stove train," the first train departed.

Approximately 50 passengers enjoyed the roasted dried squid on the stove and filmed the burning coal stove.

A male passenger in his 50s who came from Tokyo said, "I got on the train for the first time, but the retro feel of the stove train is very nice. The unique warmth of the coal stove was good, and the freshly baked dried squid was delicious." I was talking.

Tsugaru Railway's "stove train" will operate daily until the end of March next year.
