　　Song Jixiang, Deputy Mayor of Manzhouli City Government, introduced that from 0:00 to 14:00 on December 1, 12 new cases were confirmed in Manzhouli City, including 8 new cases in the urban area and 4 new cases in the Zhalai Nuoer District.

So far, a total of 142 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia have been reported in Manzhouli City, including 106 in the urban area and 36 in the Zhalai Nuoer District.

Circulation work is ongoing. As of 12:00 on December 1, a total of 4,715 close contacts and 1,503 close contacts had been investigated.

　　Song Jixiang said that as of 14:00 on December 1, the third round of large-scale nucleic acid testing has been completed. A total of 164,529 samples have been collected, and 57 cases have been screened as positive, of which 17 have been confirmed, and the other 40 are awaiting clinical review.

　　At 8 o'clock on December 1, Manzhouli City launched the fourth round of large-scale nucleic acid testing.

As of 14:00 on that day, 135,472 samples had been collected.

At present, sampling work is being carried out in an orderly manner.

　　Up to now, Manzhouli City has 6 high-risk areas and 4 medium-risk areas.

At the same time, 47 closed and controlled communities and 8 closed and controlled bungalow areas were designated, all of which were under the control of “no leaving the house”; the remaining areas were designated as control areas and the management of “no leaving the community” was implemented.
