The data shows that the total number of households in Hong Kong in the third quarter was 2,695,200, with an average of 2.7 people per household.
Among them, 11.3% of households have a monthly income of 80,000 yuan and above.
Another 16.1% of households have a monthly income of less than 8,000 yuan.
In terms of personal income, statistics show that in the third quarter, 10.6% of employees in Hong Kong had a monthly income of less than 5,000 yuan, and 11.4% of employees had a monthly income of 50,000 yuan and above.
The median monthly employment income of employed persons is 18,000 yuan.
