  The 9th Guangxi Scattering of Ashes into the Sea was held in Beihai recently, and the Guangxi Marine Burial Memorial Park was launched at the same time.

After the event kick-off ceremony, the biodegradable ashes containing the ashes of the deceased, witnessed by the representatives of the relatives, merged into the sea with petals.

In this event, a total of 809 ashes were scattered for the people, an increase of 161 from last year, the largest number in history.

Guiyang City, Guizhou Province participated in the Guangxi Scattering of Ashes for the third consecutive year, and the number of participants has increased year by year.

  According to reports, the Guangxi Civil Affairs Department supported Beihai City to build 3.9 million yuan in the Guangxi Marine Burial Memorial Park.

Since 2013, the ashes of a total of 4109 dead people have been scattered into the Beibu Gulf.

  In recent years, Guangxi has promoted the ecological burial of land-saving burial, and the number of ashes in land-saving ecological burial has been increasing year by year.

Up to now, more than 11,000 corpses have been buried in sea burials, flower bed burials, tree burials and other ecological burials in Guangxi.

The local area will further enrich the forms of land-saving and ecological funerals, provide more funeral options for the people, and release the funeral reform dividends.
