Ezra Blount is the youngest victim in the devastating mob movement that left 10 people dead during the Astroworld festival.
The 9-year-old had a front row seat at Travis Scott's show, along with his father Treston, who passed out, unable to protect the boy.
A few days after the tragedy, the rapper had promised that he would pay the burial costs of all the victims.

, if the artist did send a letter on November 24 (the day after the child's funeral) through his lawyer to indicate that he was ready to pay, his proposal was refused.
Hundreds of complainants
Bob Hilliard, the lawyer for the Blount family, added, in his response to his colleague, that the rapper had to realize his responsibility.
“I have no doubt that Mr. Scott feels remorse.
What awaits him will be painful.
He must face up to it and, I hope in any case, see that he bears some responsibility for this tragedy.
There may be, and I hope there will be, some form of redemption for him on the other side of this painful process - and maybe someday, once time has allowed the victims to heal. and to Mr. Scott and others to accept their responsibilities, Treston and Mr. Scott will be able to meet, because this meeting will make it possible to accelerate the process of cure ”, one can read in the message relayed by the publication.
Several hundred plaintiffs have come forward against Travis Scott and festival organizers since the tragedy.
One of the complaints, filed on behalf of 282 festival-goers, claims $ 2 billion from the rapper and his associates.
