The "Kansai Supermarket" in Hyogo and Osaka did not find any objection to the Kobe District Court's decision to temporarily suspend the procedure for business integration with the operating company of Hanshin Hanshin Department Store, so on the 30th, Osaka I appealed to the High Court.

At the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of Kansai Super at the end of last month, a business integration plan with "H2O Retailing," which operates Hankyu Hanshin Department Store, was approved by a small margin.

Regarding this, the metropolitan area supermarket "OK", which had previously proposed an acquisition, filed a provisional disposition seeking an injunction against the integration procedure, saying that the vote that should be treated as "abstention" was treated as "agree" at the general meeting of shareholders. The Kobe District Court ordered an injunction on the 22nd of this month.

The Kansai Super has filed an objection, dissatisfied with the injunction, but the Kobe District Court has rejected it.

For this reason, Kansai Super appealed to the Osaka High Court on the 30th, demanding cancellation, saying that "the provisional disposition of the injunction should be corrected immediately and we will continue to clarify the legality and fairness of the general meeting of shareholders." I made it clear.

Okay intends to propose another acquisition to Kansai Super if the court finally approves the suspension of the merger, and the whereabouts of the merger are becoming more uncertain.
