Fans of old string instruments will have their eyes riveted on Vichy (Allier) from this Tuesday afternoon.
The city is hosting until Thursday an auction featuring several exceptional items that should attract participants from around the world.

An instrument made in the 17th century
The highlight of the event will be the sale of a cello made in Milan (Italy) in the 1690s by the famous luthier Giovanni Grancino.
The value of the prestigious musical instrument is estimated between 250,000 and 300,000 euros.
1,200 objects are also included in the auction catalog.
Among them are many bows, one of which has been valued at 70,000 euros.
