　　At the forum, Peng Yihao, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission, released a set of statistics to illustrate the situation of cooperation and exchanges between the three places: Hong Kong is the largest source of overseas investment in Shanghai. So far, the cumulative actual investment has reached 137.8 billion U.S. dollars. It accounts for half of Shanghai's foreign investment.

Macao and Shanghai have carried out pragmatic cooperation in many fields. At the first meeting of this year's Shanghai-Australia Cooperation Conference, the two sides signed cooperation agreements in five professional fields.

At the just-concluded 4th CIIE, 242 Hong Kong companies and 81 Macau companies participated.
