According to the Osaka City Fire Department, at around 9 am on the 29th, a male employee reported that something was burning in the warehouse at Hokkoryokuchi, Konohana-ku, Osaka.
As of 10 am, about 5,000 square meters of the building was burnt, and 57 fire engines and one helicopter were out to extinguish the fire.
So far, there have been no injuries or delays.
The site is an artificial island in Konohana Ward, a corner of the area where the company's factories and warehouses are lined up in the center of Maishima.
