A businessman hires an employee to slap him... for a strange reason (video)

A young American businessman decided to hire someone whose job is to slap him every time he enters Facebook.

Although strange, this method allowed him to get rid of his addiction to social networks.

And the website Monte Carlo International quoted the American Vice that businessman Manish Sethi made a decision in 2012 to combat his addiction to social networks, the number of which is increasing day by day, and people are wasting a huge amount of time browsing them.

Sethi hired a young woman to slap him every time he opened Facebook, a somewhat violent method that paid off in the end.

Nearly ten years later, the "sethi way" has gone viral after Elon Musk, the world's richest man, reacted to his story on Twitter.

“I was wasting an incredible amount of time on networks like Facebook and Reddit, and it was time to stop," Sethi says.

After using a time management app, I discovered that I was wasting 19 hours a day on networks, which made me realize that I couldn't stop alone and that I needed encouragement.

So I put up an ad entitled "Slap Me If I Deviate From My Job" for $8 an hour.

Once the ad was published, the entrepreneur received about 20 requests from "experienced slappers" and eventually chose a young woman named Kara.

“More than the fear of being slapped, the presence of the employee was what made me focus on my work,” Sethi continues.

I finally had a manager, albeit a temporary one, which made the experience refreshing.

She helped me not only by slapping me, but also by listening to my thoughts.”
