Food that helps many people sleep better

The amount of sleep we need for good health varies with age and other factors, but the most important thing is that we get good quality sleep.

One British study said that there are some foods that can help people who suffer from insomnia or who wake up many times during the night, and other sleep problems, and among those foods linked to better sleep, rice, according to the British Sleep Foundation.

The study, conducted by the Foundation, according to "Russia Today", indicates that people who ate rice regularly reported better sleep than those who ate more bread or pasta.

The study continued: "Causality has not been proven, but previous research showed that eating foods with a high glycemic index about four hours before bedtime helped sleep."
