Over the past few days, in areas such as Swan Lake in Rongcheng City, Shandong Province, whooper swan has taken a bath to freshen up or spread its wings, attracting tourists and photographers to watch and take pictures.
With the arrival of the peak of whooper swans migration, Shandong Rongcheng ushered in the best annual bird watching season. At present, more than 6000 whooper swans have arrived for winter.
Rongcheng is one of the largest wintering habitats for whooper swans in Asia, and an important transfer station and wintering habitat for birds to migrate from the south to the north.
