On the evening of November 26, the large-scale Huizhou drama "Liu Mingzhuan" re-arranged by the Anhui Peking Opera Theater premiered in Hefei, Anhui.

The play tells the last part of Liu Mingchuan's life (1884 to 1895) in resisting law and protecting Taiwan, building Taiwan, and in his later years.

Liu Mingchuan, a native of Hefei, Anhui, an important general of the Huai Army in the late Qing Dynasty, a representative of the Westernization Movement, and the first governor of Taiwan Province, is known as the "Father of Taiwan Modernization."

The Hui opera "Liu Ming Biography" not only applies the artistic expression and singing of China's national intangible heritage-Anhui Chizhou Nuo Opera and Qingyang Opera, but also combines modern technologies such as photoelectric sound to inject new vitality into the ancient Hui Opera.
