The earth still shook slightly on Saturday evening in Loire-Atlantique.

Several websites specializing in the observation of terrestrial plaques, such as the National Seismic Monitoring Network (RéNaSS), report that a small earthquake occurred on Saturday evening shortly before 9 p.m. in the Pays-de-Retz.

The epicenter would be around Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef, and its magnitude would be around 3 on the Richter scale.

Data that still need to be refined by seismologists in the coming hours.

Several residents have already confirmed having felt the shock, which apparently did not cause any damage.

But the majority of the testimonies, which go for some as far as the north of the Vendée, speak above all of a "big bizarre noise", of a "rather loud rumbling", which would have lasted "several seconds".
