At 18:00 on November 25, Shanghai held a press conference on epidemic prevention and control to inform that three communities in the city were classified as medium-risk areas, including Jinlu Community in the western suburb of Yewen Road, Zhaoxiang Town, Qingpu District.
It is reported that the community has adopted the closed-loop management measures of "only in and not out" from the daytime.
Some parents cannot go out from the community to pick up their children from school.
Upon learning of the situation, the police at the scene planned two routes based on the geographical locations of several schools and arranged two minibuses to pick up the children.
In order to ensure the safety of pick-up and drop off and to relieve the worries of parents and teachers, Qingpu police arranged for the police to accompany the car throughout the whole process and explain to the school.
According to the police, all 18 children were safely delivered to their parents.
