On November 26, Guangxi launched an iron fist to investigate "black gas cylinders" and a special operation to focus on destroying "illegal gas cylinders".
Relevant professionals of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Market Supervision and Administration Bureau taught on-site how to distinguish "illegal gas cylinders" through the appearance of cylinders and steel seals.
"Illegal gas cylinders" such as refurbished and scrapped have unknown defects due to their service life and material status, which pose great safety risks and hidden dangers.
Professionals said that for used, expired or excessively corroded liquefied gas cylinders, the gas cylinders should be sent to the gas company's testing station for inspection and treatment.
It is reported that the whole district concentrated on destroying 4,522 scrapped, refurbished and other "illegal gas cylinders" that day.
