Since the announcement of the opening of the recall campaign against the Covid-19 to all adults, the appointments for vaccination have exploded.

In a vaccination center in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, nearly 400 injections were planned this Saturday.

REPORTING

The government's announcements have apparently been followed up. On Saturday, the Minister of Health Olivier Véran indicated that three million appointments for vaccination against Covid-19 had been made since the announcement on Thursday of the extension of the recall campaign to the entire adult population . And this influx can already be seen on the ground, as in this vaccination center in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, where Europe 1 has visited.

Since the beginning of the morning, not a moment of respite ... The appointments are made in the chain.

Nearly 400 injections were scheduled for Saturday, mostly for patients over 50 who had come to receive their third dose.

Fanny, 73, has just come out of one of the three boxes installed in the large main hall of the center.

"Considering my age, I know that my immune system is no longer at its peak, and therefore I wanted to protect myself and my loved ones," she explains.

"This pass allows me to have a social life"

This third dose is also a way to keep your health pass, essential to enjoy the small pleasures of retirement, argues Philippe, 67 years old.

"It allows me to go to the movies, to go to the theater, to go to a restaurant, while always paying a little attention."

And to summarize: "This health pass allows me to have a social life."

And faced with the explosion of meeting requests, this center in the 13th arrondissement has planned to expand its time slots, with slots until 7 p.m. instead of 6 p.m. on weekdays and even an opening on Sundays from December 12.
