[Explanation] Guangxi Acrobatic Troupe actor Cui Yan has been obsessed with improving and tempering his skills for many years, and has given a variety of expressions to his acrobatics performances, and is affectionately called "Guangxi Acrobatics Prince" by fans.

On November 25th, the reporter approached Cui Yan and listened to his "in love" with acrobatics.

[Explanation] Cui Yan, born in 1994, started learning acrobatics at the age of 8, and entered the Guangxi Acrobatic Troupe at the age of 15.

Talking about the learning process, he said that the process was very difficult, with brain congestion, backaches, backaches, and half-year exercises all common.

I was performing in Korea in 2014.

I performed in Korea for half a year, and within half a year, the triangular cartilage of my right wrist cracked directly on the stage during a performance.

It was very loud at that time, with a snap, the audience screamed, and they didn't know what was going on.

I didn't know that my bones had been cracked, so I continued to complete the following performance.

After I got off the stage, I realized that I couldn't do it manually.

[Explanation] Since childhood, he lived and studied independently and received rigorous professional training. Cui Yan did not complain of bitterness and sympathy in his self-report. For those pains caused by continuous practice, he chose to use a smile to resolve the pain.

In fact, I feel that these injuries have been a very good experience in my acrobatics career. It is like every injury that allows me to grow forward and is a mark of my growth.

[Explanation] After nearly 20 years of tempering, Cui Yan has now grown into an acrobat who can be alone.

In recent years, Cui Yan has represented China on many acrobatic tours in ASEAN, Europe and the United States.

He said that he enjoys the stage, and whenever he sees the audience applauding for himself, he immediately has a sense of accomplishment and motivation to move forward.

In fact, there are still many happy moments in acrobatics.

In fact, I think the most important point is that every time we stand on the stage, hearing the shouts and applause of the audience, I think it is the best encouragement for us.

I was moved again and again, because every time I heard the applause of the audience, I felt that all my efforts were not in vain.

[Explanation] In Cui Yan's mind, acrobatics is not only a career, but also a feeling.

Times are changing, technology is advancing, and the audience's "tastes" are also changing.

In the face of ever-changing needs, how to make this traditional art flourish in the new era is a question that Cui Yan has been actively thinking about and working hard to explore.

In fact, I think more (acrobatics) is the body of art, because acrobatics is a traditional art. How to combine traditional art with modern technology now is also a trend in the development of acrobatics in the future.

Because the current audience is not only satisfied with a form of art (performance), many of them are now cross-border integration, such as combining the body of acrobatics with dance, combining with music, combining with singing, etc. These things need to be combined with technology, as well as innovative props. These and so on are actually a necessary condition for the future development of acrobatics.

[Commentary] On the evening of November 25th, at the Nanning Theater, Cui Yan collaborated with colleagues to present three wonderful acrobatic clips from "Heroes and Gallant" to the audience.

Rings, table skills, opponent's top... the superb acrobatics skills make the audience marvelous.

Cui Yan, who is busy on various stages every day, now has a small wish. He hopes that through his own efforts, more people can understand the colorful national art and culture of Guangxi.

[Explanation] Cui Yan said that acrobatics, as a kind of folk art, is easier to cross the world and draw the hearts of the two peoples.

Chinese acrobatics play an important role in "grassroot diplomacy" in many cases, promoting friendly exchanges between China and overseas people.

In Cui Yan's mind, acrobatics can be called the quintessence of China, because "it" brings Chinese friendship abroad.

Cui Yan hopes that as Chinese acrobatics become famous overseas, more and more people will fall in love with acrobatics and devote themselves to the acrobatics industry.
