On November 24th, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Super Project—Shenzhong Passage Zhongshan Bridge’s first steel box girder weighing 490 tons was installed, marking the construction of the superstructure of the Zhongshan Bridge’s main bridge has entered the fast lane .
According to reports, the steel box girder erected this time is 4 meters high, 12.4 meters long, and 43.5 meters wide, which is equivalent to the area of 1.3 international basketball courts.
