Today's editorial magazine takes you to Rosario, sometimes referred to as “Argentine Chicago”.
A comparison that dates back to the 1930s, when the installation of powerful Sicilian mafias in this large agro-industrial port made it, for a time, the capital of gambling and prostitution.
While Rosario currently has a homicide rate three times the national average, that old nickname is resurfacing.
Gangrened by corruption and drug traffickers, the third city of the country is once again the capital of organized crime in Argentina.
