A tribute to Samuel Paty

France 2 therefore decided to adapt this album into a musical television show. For the occasion, other artists were invited to recite the texts of

Days of Glory

, including Joey Starr, François Cluzet, Camélia Jordana, the Berthollet sisters, Gautier Capuçon, Zaz and even Patrick Bruel. They will come to sing or recite texts around secularism, gender equality and living together.

"We really had the impression that we were in the real values that the public service had to defend", explains Michel Field, the culture and performing arts dictator of France Televisions.

“In addition, we are at the dawn of a very political year. So recalling the fundamental values of the Republic has a sense of positive affirmation. secularism. It is obviously a tribute to Samuel Paty, "he added.

Filming at the Bataclan

The show was shot in the midst of the November 13th attacks trial and not just anywhere: at the Bataclan.

Quite a symbol.

"You don't do things at the Bataclan with impunity. There is something that marks as soon as you enter this room. The whole team is fighting to revive this room and give the most scathing denial to those who wanted to attack a way of life. I found it very beautiful that we do the Bataclan ".
