Investigations into the incident, an Egyptian artist accused of guarding 7 girls, reveals new surprises

The Egyptian security investigations revealed, in the case of the Egyptian artist Shadi Khalaf's accusation of blaspheming the presentation of 7 girls, in one of his acting workshops, several surprises in the accusation against him.

Secret investigations did not reach “whether the accused indecently assaulted any of them, nor did he have any precedents,” according to the investigations.

Investigations, according to Al Arabiya Net, concluded that “all of the victims were training in his studio, and the beginning of their acquaintance with the accused was by participating in acting workshops in the studio at different times, except for the author who met him during his stay in the camp where she works.”

And the Cairo Criminal Court had postponed the first session of the trial of the artist Shadi Khalaf, accused of harassment, indecent assault, and attempting to rape 7 girls by force in an acting workshop, to the next December 19 session.

The court heard Khalaf's statements and confronted him with the accusations against him, which they all denied.

The artist’s defense requested to summon the witnesses of the eighth and ninth proof, and to summon the head of the Heliopolis investigations to hear his statements, as well as to summon the head of investigations and another officer in the department, as well as summoning the second victim to question her and hear her statements.

The girls mentioned in their statements that the accused tried to engage in indecent acts with them, and when they refused, he expelled them from the workshop, but they declined to report the facts out of fear for their reputation.

They pointed out that after that, they learned through social media that the accused had committed such acts with others, so they wrote down what happened to them on one of the communication platforms.

It is reported that Shadi Khalaf (42 years old) is an actor and acting coach in a studio, and he is the son of poet Nabil Suleiman Khalaf, who was previously accused and convicted in a corruption case.

The artist participated in many films, including "The Three They Work for It", "365 Days of Happiness", "The First in Love", "Heya Fawda", "Kalmni Shukran", and "Hena Maysarah".
