A special trip was organized over Dubai to enjoy the beauties of its streets, towers and architecture, on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project for the Helicopter Center "Dubai Hillpark" in partnership with Air Chateau International, the private operator of helipads in the UAE, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, President of Dubai Airports, Chief Executive Officer, Emirates Airline and Group, and Chairman of Dubai Airports.
The founder, chairman and managing director of Air Chateau International, the private operator of helipads in the UAE, Dr. Samir Mohammed, told Emirates Today about these flights and the new helipad: "This helipad is the first and largest in the region, and we have done this The trip is to introduce people to the experience that is available to visitors, tourists and businessmen, and work has been done to make the experience completely different, and this is what distinguishes Dubai in all the experiences it offers.”
He pointed out that when the procedures for constructing the helipad began, work was done to make helicopter flights available to all groups, especially by allowing the use of the helipad, noting that Dubai is a business center in the region, and therefore these flights meet the needs of businessmen and not only for tourism.
Regarding the number of helipads, he noted that there are up to 20 helipads, which means that at one time 20 helicopters can be accommodated, while the number of aircraft that use the airport can reach 60.
As for private tourist trips, he pointed out that people can choose more than one airport or station. There is a special landing strip in the Marina area, or the new one in Jebel Ali can be chosen, and people can choose the 10-minute flight, but it is short, and for this work was done. On trips of up to 22 minutes, including picking up the person from his home, and costing up to 3000 dirhams, the plane can also be booked for a private trip ranging from 45 minutes to an hour.
He pointed out that there are talks with the Dubai Tourism Authority in order to reach the best packages that encourage people to take these tourist trips.
Regarding his expectations for the UAE market, he noted that the market and the number of flights that depart during one day were studied, stressing that seeing Dubai from the sky at night is only available through them, noting that Dubai is very different and beautiful and evening flights provide a different experience that satisfies people, especially since there is a demand for these Trips.
