The special lanes for the Winter Olympics consist of special lane markings and matching signs.

The special lane markings are composed of orange and white dotted lines, which are bright in color and highly recognizable.

The five-ring sign uses a pre-formed marking tape to be set at the starting point of the dedicated lane. Compared with the currently widely used paint marking, it has more advantages in road performance, especially in the removal of alteration performance.

In order to minimize the impact on citizens' travel, the six expressways within the sixth ring road were constructed at night.

It is reported that during the Winter Olympics and Paralympics, a total of 271.8 kilometers of Olympic road networks are planned in the Beijing and Yanqing competition areas, covering all major Olympic venues.

Among them, the dedicated lanes within the urban area and within the Yanqing urban area are respectively assigned by the municipal traffic control department and the Yanqing district government.

At present, the dedicated lanes are only planned and not used. Before the opening of the Winter Olympics, Beijing Municipality will issue a notice of opening.
