A woman throws her baby girl into the Nile waters
The Egyptian security forces have arrested a woman for accusing her of throwing her infant daughter into the Nile waters at the Qasr al-Nil Police Department in Cairo.
The body of the girl, who was only 16 months old, was recovered by the river rescue forces, and transferred to the Zeinhom Morgue at the disposal of the Public Prosecution.
The Egyptian newspaper, Akhbar Al-Youm, said that the prosecution had ordered the assignment of forensic medicine;
To conduct the anatomical characterization of the victim child, to explain the cause and manner of death, and authorized her burial.
