Ali Jumaa: The Prophet’s Mosque is the best place on earth, even the Sacred Mosque and the Kaaba

Dr. Ali Gomaa, the former Mufti of Egypt and a member of the Council of Senior Scholars, said that the Prophet’s Mosque is the best place on earth, even the Grand Mosque and the Kaaba.

And he said in a post on his official page on the social networking site “Facebook”: “We have talked in previous articles about Madinah and its most important blessed places, and we have postponed talking about the Noble Prophet’s Mosque due to its greatness, and here we are dedicating a collection of articles for it, for the Prophet’s Mosque is the best spot. On the face of the earth, it is the best place in existence, because the Prophet’s Mosque now contains the honorable tomb that houses the pure body of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and the place that houses the body of the greatest of creatures is the best of all places. Scientists said:It is the best place on earth, even the Sacred Mosque, and even the honorable Kaaba, and it is better than the heavens, even the Throne and the Throne, and this is what Imam Al-Subki mentioned, where he says (As for the honorable burial, it is not covered by the ruling of the mosque, rather it is more honorable than the mosque, and more honorable than the mosque of Makkah (meaning The Sacred House of God) and more honorable than all the places, as Al-Qadi Ayyad recounted the consensus on that, that the place that included the members of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, there is no dispute that it is better.”

He added: "It is the best of the Bekaa, and it is the second mosque of the Two Holy Mosques. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, chose its location upon his arrival in Medina as an emigrant. History, while it performs its mission, is a distinguished site of worship, a school for science and knowledge, and a springboard for advocacy.

He continued: "It is useful to get acquainted with a historical overview of that great mosque. After the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, resided for days in Quba, in which he built the Quba Mosque, the first mosque founded on piety, and you spoke about him about it in a previous article, he went out riding his she-camel, heading where he ordered him. By God, the Friday prayer caught him in Bani Salem bin Auf, so he prayed it in the valley. Then men from Bani Salem came out to him, including Al-Abbas bin Ubadah and Atban bin Malik, and they asked him to come down and stay with them, and he said: Leave the she-camel, for it is commanded.

And he continued: “The Ansar rose around him until the turn of Banu Bayada came, and Ziyad bin Labid and Farwa bin Amr met him among some of the men among them, so they invited him to go down and stay with them, so he, peace be upon him, said: Leave the she-camel, for it is commanded, and he went until the turn of Banu Sa’idah came, and Saad bin Ubadah met him. Al-Mundhir bin Amr, and men from Bani Sa’idah, so they called him to go down and stay with them, so he, peace be upon him, said: Leave the she-camel, for it is commanded, and he went on until the turn of Bani Al-Harith bin Al-Khazraj came, and Saad bin Al-Rabee’, Kharja bin Zaid, and Abdullah bin Rawahah, so they called him, peace be upon him, to stay With them, he said: “Leave the she-camel, for it is commanded.” And he, peace be upon him, went on until the turn of Banu Uday bin Al-Najjar, who were Abd al-Muttalib’s uncles, came to him. warden."

He added: “The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, went on until the turn of Banu Malik bin Al-Najjar came, and the she-camel blessed in the place of his mosque, peace be upon him, which at that time was Marbad dates for two orphan boys from Banu Malik bin Al-Najjar, they were Sahl and Suhail, and they were in the stone of Muadh bin Afra, and there were palm trees around it, ruins and graves of the infidels. So the she-camel was blessed, so he, peace be upon him, remained on her back, but he did not descend. Abu Ayyub’s house is in a house where Abu Ayyub’s dwelling is located. Abu Ayyub took an oath to the Messenger of God and expressed the desire for him to go to his house and Abu Ayyub would descend from him, so the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, did that.
