They seem to fly with the currents, their flexible bodies letting themselves be carried by the water: the genus Melibe groups together somewhat particular mollusks.
Belonging to the group of nudibranchs, they are distinguished by their mode of feeding since, unlike their "cousins" who graze passively, they are active and hunt other smaller molluscs.
Despite their lack of fins, they can even swim short distances with their bodies waving.
Living in almost all of the world's oceans and seas, these mollusks come in seventeen species.
