In 2010, after retiring, Wu Yuren and his colleagues established the "Zhiyong Science and Technology Innovation Practice Base", and the cumulative number of teenagers benefited by their public welfare science activities has exceeded one million.

In 2018, Wu Yuren and ten Ph.D. professors established the "No Questions Club", trying to use the form of emerging short videos to spread popular science content.

　　Unlike teaching face-to-face with students in the classroom, Wu Yuren needs to deliver the content as quickly and efficiently as possible in a very limited time when speaking in a short video.

Although a short video is short in length, it takes three to four hours to shoot. It often takes two or three times in a row, and then the team helps to edit it.
