The Keizai Doyukai has revealed that unauthorized access to the secretariat's system has been confirmed, and that internal materials may have leaked from the staff's personal computer.

According to the announcement, the abnormality was detected multiple times on the server of the Keizai Doyukai secretariat from August to October.

When we asked an outside contractor to investigate, it was confirmed that there was unauthorized access to the secretariat's system, and it was found that the information on the personal computers of several staff members of the secretariat may have leaked to the outside.

It is said that these personal computers contain materials used in internal discussions when making policy proposals, and may contain some personal information.

At the moment, there is no information that the leaked material has been misused, but it is said that some of the system operations have been postponed and the police have been contacted to discuss future measures.

The Keizai Doyukai apologizes, "We deeply apologize for causing a great deal of inconvenience and concern to all concerned."
