He sleeps in the bed of Madonna, who previously owned the palace

The richest dog in the world sells his mansion for $32 million and his fortune is estimated at half a trillion

The richest animal in the world, Gunther VI, has sold his Miami mansion and managed to sell it for $30.75 million.

Gunther VI the dog is the beneficiary of a box that owns a nine-bedroom, eight-and-a-half-bathroom mansion in Miami that was once occupied by Madonna, which Gunther recently sold.

The waterfront mansion was transferred to Gunther VI through his inheritance, and he listed it for a whopping $31.75 million.

The prestigious dog's fortune comes from the late German Countess Carlotta Liebenstein, who died in 1992 and dedicated her entire $80 million fortune to her beloved dog, Gunther III, Gunther's sixth grandfather, as she had no children or close relatives, according to several reports.

The humans who ran the dog estate amassed a fortune estimated at $500 million, and invested Gunther VI's money in mansions and villas around the world.

When it came to selling his Miami mansion, Gunther VI put real estate agent Ruthie Assoulin in charge.

"When the staff first told me that a dog owned the property, I couldn't believe it."

To gain approval for the sale, Ruthie had to undergo a rigorous sniffing test by Gunther VI.

"During our first meeting with Gunther, he ran up to me and gave me a huge sloppy kiss and licked my red lip," she says.

"I guess that's what really sealed the deal!"

The dog's private estate is located on 51,000 square feet with a 100-foot waterfront.

It features extensive landscapes, open waters, city views, a pool, fountain and pier where Gunther loves to soak up the sun when visiting Miami from Italy, where he lives full time.

The home is 8,400 square feet, giving Gunter VI plenty of room to roam, but he prefers to spend most of his time in the former Madonna's bedroom.

A source told PEOPLE, "He sleeps in a custom-designed round Italian red velvet bed on the floor of Madonna's old bedroom. Gunter VI lives a wonderful life."

"This property has a history that no one else can claim," says Ruthie.

“In addition, the ultra-private gated property is located on a vast expanse lined with stunning royal palm trees surrounded by lush landscaping and stunning views of the open bay.”

The Gunther Group manages the Gunther VI Dog Estate, which was created and designed to ensure the dog is well cared for.

The "German Shepherd" dog inherited the Miami mansion, and his total fortune, from his grandfather, Gunther IV, the second dog in lineage, who had already bought the house from Madonna 20 years ago.

When a pet owner leaves an inheritance for a dog or other animal, the money is usually put into a trust with a human guardian called to make decisions about how it is spent.

Gunther VI's caretakers also have other businesses on his behalf and have invested money in scientific research, even setting up the Gunther Risk Fund to help animals in need.
