The first boats arrived at the naval base on Thursday.
Within a week, the military will be split into two teams, the red and the blue, and will embark on a high-intensity combat simulation.
The opposition will be played out mainly in the Mediterranean but also on the French Atlantic coast.

Army, Air and Navy units are participating in this major exercise.
