The "Autumn Arita Ceramics Festival" in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, is a pottery town, and the "main period" begins on the 19th and is visited by shoppers.

The "Autumn Arita Ceramics Festival" has been held for 16 years in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture, not only for the "Arita Ceramics Market" that is held during the long holidays, but also for the autumn leaves to get familiar with the pottery. ..

The "pottery market" was canceled following last year due to the influence of the new coronavirus, but the autumn "pottery festival" is divided into two periods so that people do not concentrate. Following the "pre-period" until the 14th of this month, the "main period" started on the 19th.

The street that became the venue is lined with pottery shops, and plates, tea bowls, coffee cups, etc. are sold at cheaper prices than usual.

The attraction is that you can enjoy shopping while taking a leisurely stroll through the town, and when the visitors stopped at the eaves, they picked up the ceramics lined up and chose their favorite items.

A woman from Fukuoka said, "I was afraid to buy a lot because the spring pottery market was canceled for two years in a row."

The main period of the "Autumn Arita Ceramics Festival" is until the 23rd of this month, and the Arita Tourism Association, which sponsors it, is aiming for 200,000 people including the pre-period.
