According to the official WeChat account of the Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, Zhang Jie, the former deputy mayor of Beiqijia Town, Changping District, Beijing, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision and investigation.

Zhang Jie, male, Han nationality, was born in August 1970 in Huangmei, Hubei. He started working in August 1995 and joined the Communist Party of China in June 2002. He has a university degree.
He used to be the director and deputy mayor of the government office of Beiqijia Town, Changping District, Beijing, and a member of the Nankou Town Party Committee and Minister of Armed Forces.
He is currently a fourth-level investigator in Nankou Town, Changping District.
