A demonstration experiment of playset designed to be enjoyed by everyone regardless of disabilities will be held at Maiduru Park in Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, and the playset has been released to the press.

Fukuoka City is working to make all the facilities in the city a "universal design" that is easy for anyone to use.

On the 18th, the playset was released to the press before the demonstration experiment of the playset considering universal design was held at Maiduru Park in Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City for 10 days from the 19th, and children from the nearby nursery school were also invited. I did.

There are five playsets, such as a slide with a slope and bicycle parking space that you can enjoy while riding in a wheelchair, and a swing that you can enjoy by fixing your body with a belt even if it is difficult to maintain your posture.

The invited children were free to play with the playset.

One of the children said, "It was fun. The swing had a belt so I couldn't move."

Mayor Takashima of Fukuoka City, who visited the site, said, "I want everyone to enjoy the playset regardless of age or disability."

In the future, the city will proceed with the examination for installation by referring to the opinions gathered in the demonstration experiment.
