Walk half an hour a day

Among the easy techniques to avoid stress are of course meditation (the basis of true Zen Buddhism), but also simple physical activities.

"Half an hour of walking has the effect of a mild antidepressant on the level of mood and on anxiety. It maintains a good level of zenitude," he explains.

Slow down your breathing

Breathing exercises are also very useful in combating anxiety states.

"We get stressed because we breathe too quickly. This creates a feeling of oppression", summarizes the psychotherapist.

Repeating slow phases of inspiration and breathing for a minute can significantly reduce stress, he says.

"All breathing techniques have one goal: to slow you down so that there is less oxygen in your blood and more CO2."

Another technique: breathe in slowly through the nose and slowly exhale the air through a straw through the mouth.

All these techniques fall under the method of "cardiac coherence".

Forcing yourself to think about our negative ideas

Often, stress is generated by negative ideas that assail us and which we cannot get rid of.

To evacuate them, the hypnotherapist has a technique which may seem paradoxical: "You take all your negative ideas and you force yourself to think about them. Thinking of something, you regain control of it. And finally, you create weariness. and we stop thinking about it because we are fed up. "
