Employment of disabled people: Le Reflet, an extraordinary restaurant

Five years ago, Flore Lelièvre, whose brother has Down's syndrome, opened the restaurant Le Reflet in Nantes, proving that working in an ordinary environment with a mental or cognitive handicap is possible.

For two years, Le Reflet has also existed in Paris in the Marais district.

Including those who have only a minor or temporary disability, 12 million people in France live with a disability and the unemployment rate for people with disabilities is 18%, twice the national average.

Lowering the unemployment rate for people with disabilities and giving as many people as possible access to work is the major issue of the European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities, of which it is the 25th edition this week.
