Some were reassured and expected the death of others.. a patient impersonating a doctor in a hospital in Jordan

The impersonation incident in a hospital in Jordan sparked a wave of controversy and debate on social media platforms, after the discovery of a patient who impersonated a doctor and wandered among the patients in the hospital rooms and examined them, and his medical advice was restricted to them.

The incident took place in Al-Bashir hospitals, according to “Al-Ghad” newspaper, which quoted the director of Al-Bashir Hospitals, Dr. Ali Al-Abdallat, as saying that the patient accused of the accident had been visiting the outpatient clinics during the last period, and two days ago he wore the doctors’ uniform and put headphones on his shoulders and began wandering between departments to examine patients and evaluate their health condition.

Al-Abdallat added that the aforementioned person provoked a state of terror among some of the patients’ companions, as he told some of the companions that their patient is in a bad health condition and will die after two days, and told others that the patient’s health condition does not require him to stay in the hospital and that he must go home.

Al-Abdallat confirmed that the person did not dispense any types of medicines or give them to patients, noting that the doctors in the hospital had doubts about the person, which prompted them to inform the security services, which attended immediately, arrested him and referred him to investigation.

It has not yet been revealed why this person impersonated a doctor.
