In Seine-Saint-Denis, a discrimination observatory to fight against inequalities

In Seine-Saint-Denis, 92% of acts of discrimination take place during the search for employment or accommodation and in the world of work.

The device, launched last October 9, is intended to be a tool in the fight against all forms of unequal treatment of which the inhabitants of the department 93 claim to be victims.

In a recent poll conducted by Harris Interactive, it emerged that one in three inhabitants of Seine-Saint-Denis said they had been the victim of at least one type of discrimination.

And among young people, it is the facial controls that are the most criticized.
