The last time this figure exceeded 19,000 new daily cases was in late August.

It amounts to precisely 19,778 new cases confirmed Tuesday since the day before.

The rate of positivity on the rise

The positivity rate is 3.7%, up slightly.

Currently, 7,535 patients are hospitalized with a diagnosis of Covid-19, with 647 new admissions since Monday.

Critical care services account for 1,277 of these patients, with 135 new admissions.

The number of deaths has risen to 118,271 since the start of the epidemic in spring 2020, including 91,374 in hospital and 48 in the last 24 hours.

In total, 51,575,242 people received at least one injection (i.e. 76.5% of the total population) and 50,491,909 people now have a complete vaccination schedule (i.e. 74.9% of the total population), according to the Directorate. general health.
