A woman puts her child up for adoption on Facebook. The reason is shocking

The Egyptian security services revealed a surprise in the case of a woman offering a newborn child for adoption through the social networking site "Facebook".

In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Interior said that the security services were able to identify the perpetrator of the incident and it was found that she was residing in Giza Governorate, and after legalizing the procedures, she was targeted and was arrested at the Qasr El-Nil Police Department, accompanied by a person and a newborn child.

The ministry added that in confronting them, the first acknowledged that due to her previous "customary" marriage to the second, and the birth of the child from him and his unwillingness to attribute the child to him, the idea of offering the child for sale under the guise of adoption through one of the pages on the social networking site "Facebook" brewed in her mind. The latter threatened her to deliver a trust in the event of keeping the child, and by confronting the latter with what she said supported her.
