Truck driver suffocated under 30 tons of rice!

The English city of Liverpool witnessed a strange death, which resulted in the death of a dump truck driver, under a huge pile of rice.

John Burns suffocated after being crushed under a huge amount of rice, causing severe injuries to the chest area.

A statement from Britain's Health and Safety Agency said Burns, along with three other drivers, were transporting rice from a container ship to a storage warehouse.

When Mr. Burns' car did not leave the warehouse, officials checked the site, only to find the man buried under an enormous pile of rice.

According to the coroner's report, Burns suffered serious injuries to the leg and chest, and identified the cause of death as suffocation.

And according to the British newspaper, “Daily Star”, the company responsible for the accident was fined 1.8 million pounds, for its responsibility for crushing a man under 30 tons of rice.

The Associated British Ports Holding Company has admitted responsibility for the accident, and overlooked several issues related to the safety of its workers.
