Yaqoub Bushehri's legal agent, lawyer Ahmed Saeed Al Mazrouei, told the ITV Arabi program that he moved to Saudi Arabia at the request of his client, and proceeded with the divorce procedures for his wife, and the official divorce took place.
Ahmed explained that his client had made the decision to divorce some time ago, and assigned him, as his legal representative, to follow up the separation procedures according to the law and the rules.
Ahmed confirmed that his statement is tantamount to announcing the incident to repel rumors, and that no details on this matter may be circulated except through a special statement issued by him in his capacity as the legal representative of Yaqoub Bushehri in this case.
