National Day celebrations in Sharjah: fireworks, classic cars, heritage, singing, war and family


The Sharjah Committee for National Day Celebrations celebrates the 50-year history of the historical achievements of the United Arab Emirates, by organizing a series of performances, events and activities in all cities of the emirate over a period of 11 days, starting from November 23 to December 3, highlighting the Achievements, history and heritage of the country. 

The National Day activities target the citizens and residents of the Emirate of Sharjah in the emirate’s most prominent tourist, cultural and national destinations. The program of events is divided into Khorfakkan Amphitheater, Sharjah National Park, Al Majaz Theatre, Al Hosn Island in Dibba Al Hisn, Al Madam Municipality in Al Madam, Heritage Village in Hamriyah, and Kalba Beach Park And the heritage village in Al Dhaid.


Chairman of the Organizing Committee for Events, Khaled Al Midfa, said, "The achievements made by our country since the declaration of the union in 1971 until this day are qualitative achievements made by the state in a record period that made it a role model, which invites us to celebrate with pride what we have achieved, and motivates us to preserve these gains and continue Work with high zeal and great loyalty, so that our country will remain in the ranks of the countries of the world, and its aspirations for the next fifty years of the civilized state project will be achieved.

He added: "We were keen to diversify the celebrations of the fiftieth National Day to include entertainment, artistic and cultural activities, to gather all segments of the public. Today, we look at what has been achieved during the past period as a pioneering model in development and improving the quality of life. The United Arab Emirates".


The arts of Emirati playing and singing, such as Harbiye, Al-Ayala, Al-Rababa, and Al-Azi, will meet on November 23, as part of a busy program for the people of Khorfakkan and its visitors. Musicians and artists accompanied her with their live music, acrobatic performances, and theatrical performances.


On November 25, the people and visitors of the city of Madame are waiting for traditional tales told by the rhythms of music and poetry. The National Day Activities Committee will organize poetic mornings, in which poetry stars will meet on one platform, and the audience will compete for the most beautiful video clip that embodies the aesthetics of the Madame area. 

The Heritage Village in Hamriyah will receive the public on November 25, with games, educational and artistic workshops, and platforms for maritime heritage performances, Nabati poem performances, and folk songs enthusiasts. and residing on the territory of the United Arab Emirates. 


Al-Hosn Island in Dibba Al-Hisn is full of many activities for the public, citizens and residents, starting with a march that starts from the city’s entrance to the flagpole, on November 25, in addition to a national operetta in celebration of fifty years of giving. 


On November 26, in Kalba Beach Park, the public will follow a procession of rare classic cars and bikes, while the city’s sky is lit with fireworks accompanied by folk bands that take the people and visitors on a journey in the memory of the authentic Emirati heritage, where the Al Ayyala band lined up with its special performances to enrich the audience’s experience and celebrate With them, a journey of fifty years of achievement. 


From November 29 to December 3, Sharjah National Park welcomes its visitors with a world of fun and entertainment, offering more than 20 activities ranging from tours, folk shows, prize draws, food and beverage platforms, and folk and heritage games. 

During the period from November 29 to December 1, the residents and visitors of the city of Al Dhaid will enter creative competitions that challenge the public’s imagination to present the most beautiful images, texts, projects and creative artistic paintings, while poetry lovers await an evening celebrating the poem, in which the rhythms of Emirati folk poetry meet. and eloquent, while the orchestras take visitors to tunes, instrumentals and songs from the memory of the good time.  

On the first of next December, the Khorfakkan Amphitheater will host a patriotic evening for the artist Fayez Al-Saeed and the artist Balqis, where the audience will enjoy a synthesis of the most beautiful performances of the two artists over the course of their artistic career, while the audience will be on the third of next December on a date with the great Emirati artist Hussein Al Jasmi, along with A group of artists such as Faisal Al Jassem, Mohammed Al Menhali, and Almas, perform at Al Majaz Theatre.
