The ship sank more than 40 nautical miles, and 13 crew members abandoned the ship and boarded the lifeboat for rescue. The situation was very urgent.

After the emergency coordination of the Guangdong Provincial Maritime Search and Rescue Center, all the crew members in distress were rescued by the nearby Fujian fishing boat "Minshiyu 07570". The rescued personnel are in good condition.

  At 15:22 on November 12, the Guangdong Provincial Maritime Search and Rescue Center received a report from the Jieyang Sea (Water) Search and Rescue Sub-center that the Qinzhou-registered bulk carrier "Hangsheng 88" had offshored more than 40 offshore waters off Huilai, Jieyang. The sea is leaning and the situation is urgent, so please ask for help.

After receiving the report, the Guangdong Provincial Maritime Search and Rescue Center immediately initiated an emergency response, requesting the Jieyang City Sea (Water) Search and Rescue Sub-center to further understand the danger information, verify the relevant situation, and organize forces to go to the incident water area to carry out rescue; request the Shantou City Maritime Search and Rescue Sub-center The center coordinated the Shantou Coastal Radio to broadcast navigational warnings, coordinated past merchant ships to participate in rescue; coordinated the South China Sea Rescue Bureau to dispatch helicopters to rescue; coordinated the third bureau directly under the China Coast Guard to dispatch boats to rescue, Guangdong Provincial Marine Comprehensive Law Enforcement Corps coordinated nearby fishing boats to participate in rescue .

  At 16:08 that day, the South China Sea Rescue Bureau sent a helicopter B-7137 to the waters where the incident occurred to participate in the rescue. The Guangdong Provincial Marine Comprehensive Law Enforcement Corps organized and coordinated 10 fishing boats nearby to participate in the rescue. Ships such as "Shiyou 525" and "Cihang 18" went to rescue.

At 16:36, the Xiangzhi Fishery Association of Shishi City, Fujian Province notified that "Minshiyu 07570" rescued 13 people in distress from the lifeboat. The rescued personnel were in good condition and the "Hangsheng 88" ship sank.

At 23:00 on the 12th, the "Minshiyu 07570" fishing boat safely arrived at the Huilai Aojiao Fishing Port wharf. All personnel were safe and the rescue operation ended.
