The accused soldier has so far not been regarded as a defendant, but as a witness with legal counsel.
He was transferred to a duty station outside the palace.
The alleged victim was accompanied and supported.
Liberation newspaper reported that President Macron gave a short speech at the ceremony and said goodbye around 10 p.m.
The celebration was then continued in a small circle in the high security area of the General Staff in the palace.
The rape is said to have occurred there.
