My oral question

An auditor, Abdoulaye, asked us what to do while his partner "writhes in pain with each intercourse". Camille Tallet, midwife, liberal osteopath in Lyon, president of the Périnée Bien-Aimé association, answers him in this episode of “Butterfly minute! ". She published, with Elise Thiébaut, the guide

Auheur des vulves

, a manual to discover and take care of the female sex, published by Leduc.

What can be the different pains felt in the female sex?

Camille Tallet lists three, with those which concern the vulva and the entrance to the vagina, and which may reveal vestibulodynia, vulvodynia or vaginismus.

Then there are the pains related to penetration or those felt deep in the vagina.

What do these pains reveal?

What to do to remove them?

Why can the recommended therapies be physical and mental?

Remember that sexual relations must be consented and take place without pain.

And that they do not automatically imply penetration.

The entire exchange, and Camille Tallet's answers, can be found in this audio episode, to be listened to for free.
