Princess Madawi bint Al-Muntasir bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud signed, as part of the book fair, her recently published poetry collection "Obsession", in which she presents a group of poems, sings of love for the country.

Princess Madawi said: "I chose Sharjah to be my first stop outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to sign my book there, because of the appreciation it holds for books and writers." She expressed her happiness with the cultural diversity and the great turnout at the Sharjah International Book Fair.

She toured the halls and lobbies of the Sharjah International Book Fair, reviewed the new publications of participating Arab and foreign publishing houses, and praised the size of the exhibition's organization, and the efforts led by Sharjah in the service of Arab writers and culture.

Regarding the authorship of her book “Obsessions”, Princess Madawi indicated: “Everyone keeps good memories that he lived in his homeland and the arms of his country, and during the years during which I was writing in Al-Riyadh newspaper, and I loved to write down the summary of those memories, and to translate the feelings that I have for my country, and the honorable biography of its leaders. Through this book.

Madawi said: "To love the homeland, this is what hearts are made of, and for the homeland to love you, this is what we envy. That is why I made my book a summary of my feelings to express my love for my country."
