To this end, the SAR government formulated this administrative regulation.

  The bill proposes that local employees whose work income in 2020 does not exceed 144,000 patacas (MOP, the same below) will be granted 10,000 yuan in assistance. The beneficiaries include employees who left, part-time or stayed without pay within the last year. .

  In terms of assistance to freelancers, 10,000 yuan will be distributed to taxi drivers, tricycle drivers, hawkers and vendors, tour guides, water taxi drivers, and fishermen who hold valid licenses. Other freelancers will be paid in 2020. If the occupational tax declaration is not profitable, it will be calculated at 5% of the average occupational tax burden declared in the last three years, and each person will be given a minimum of 10,000 yuan and a maximum of 200,000 yuan in assistance.

  Regarding assistance payments to business operators, taxpayers registered with the Finance Bureau (excluding natural person taxpayers who are not residents of Macau), if their operating companies do not make a profit in the 2020 supplementary income tax declaration, they will be declared in the most recent three years Calculated after 5% of the average operating cost of the company is calculated, each person will issue a minimum of 10,000 yuan and a maximum of 200,000 yuan in assistance.

  The Acting Director of the Macau Finance Bureau, Zhong Shengxin, said that the beneficiaries must apply within 30 days after the regulations take effect.
