On November 11, Yi Qingtao, Secretary-General of the Dalian Municipal Government, notified at a press conference on the prevention and control of the epidemic in Dalian that 24 samples of 16 cases in Zhuanghe City have been sequenced for the new coronavirus genome, which belongs to the VOC/Delta variant ( B.1.617.2 evolutionary branch).
At present, Zhuanghe City has completed 5 rounds of nucleic acid testing. In addition to Zhuanghe, Dalian City has completed one round of nucleic acid testing. The second round of nucleic acid testing has been launched on the afternoon of the 11th.
On November 4, Dalian City reported a new local confirmed case, which was the first designated cold storage employee in Zhuanghe City, Dalian.
Up to now, Dalian has reported a total of 163 cases of new coronary pneumonia infection, of which 83 were confirmed cases and 80 were asymptomatic infections.
