China News Service, November 12th. According to the WeChat official account of the Beijing Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, on November 10, 2021, after Beijing received a report of a case in Beijing with a coordinated investigation by other provinces, it immediately responded, acted quickly, and strictly implemented it. Various prevention and control measures have resolutely blocked the chain of virus transmission.

As of 24:00 on November 11, a total of 7 cases of new coronavirus infections related to the cases investigated by other provinces have been found in Beijing, including 2 cases in Chaoyang District and 5 cases in Haidian District.

At present, the Beijing Centers for Disease Control and Prevention laboratory has completed the whole genome sequencing of the virus in 5 confirmed cases. Sequence analysis shows that the virus belongs to the Delta mutant strain, which is associated with the early cases of the clustered epidemic transmission branch in Fengtai District, Haidian District, and Changping District in Beijing. The gene sequence is highly homologous and it is more likely to belong to the same transmission chain. At the same time, the possibility of transmission of potential infections imported from outside Beijing is not ruled out. The detailed traceability of the epidemic is still underway.
